Yes, I’ve been gone for a while. Writing papers was very stressful and for the past few days I’ve been just relaxing at home. So I’m back after a somewhat lengthy hiatus.

I have returned from my sweat-infused trip to Greece and Turkey. I had high hopes of visiting ancient ruins and enjoying the sparkling waters of the Greek Islands. To my dismay, we were incessantly herded like cattle from site to site. I literally sweat a gallon from walking under the unforgiving rays of sun whilst we looked at the different ruins of ancient Greece (which all looked the same to me by day three). I will be posting again and will also have some scenic photos from the trip. Woot.

Boy what an excited girl I am. I’ll be missing from the states for two weeks and will be spending my birthday in Greece. I still haven’t packed all my luggage being the dangerous procrastinator that I am but I’m sure last minute packing will make my last evening in orange county.. california.. the United States(!) the more exciting.

My pet peeve is seeing girls with over-plucked eyebrows heavily drawn in. Yuck.

Today my brother made me the more self conscious about my nose. In spite of being blessed for not being born with the unfortunate endowment of a flat, asian nose, I still cringe when I see my huge nose reflected back at me in the mirror. I have a small face and my nose just overpowers all other features. Thus explains my desire to get a rhinoplasty ASAP. However, I’m afraid that i’ll end up with a botched honker that i’ll have to live with for the rest of my existence. Hollywood has provided me with fairly current examples of how well or how bad a nose job can turn out (i.e. the two Ashleys: Simpson + Tisdale). 

I wonder how many of you out there feel the same way about your noses. I need dinero quick!

Okay, I know. It’s nonsensical to spend endless hours (3 hours last night!) browsing site after site looking for the perfect, yet affordable bag when I don’t have the money to even afford an “affordable” handbag.
What the shiz. A girl can still get hyped up hunting online for that “omg, what a bargain!” bag though right? Well, for any of you who have the money, I’m recommending the Jill Stuart Sabrina Patent Tote. Apparently Lindsay Lohan has been seen trotting around with the bag (strong possibility since she was the new face for the 2007 campaign). Originally $445, Now $337.50

So I’ve been searching for an affordable purse being that my funds will be sucked dry after the Greece trip. There were a few marc by marc clutches that I’ve been keeping my eyes on but I stumbled across this quilted bag on the jcrew website. I’ve been contemplating not splurging on a purse and instead going clothes shopping with the dinero. However, a cute purse at $228 is making me reconsider my options.

Boy was it sweltering hot in palm springs. Despite the gallons of sweat that poured down from our bodies, I had a good time with the boy this weekend. It was nice being able to spend quality time between the two of us without the hustle bustle of distracting people back home. I was a little irritated at one point though. We were out on the bar near the spa when somehow the topic of his ex came up in our conversation. Blah blah blah. No need for detail. I just wish she’d jump into big, black hole of nothingness and never return. Stupid bitch. 

Going on a weekend excursion with the boy. I believe there are good things to come between us and although we’ll be apart for about 6 months once the summer days slowly fade into fall, I hope that our relationship remains strong and withstands whatever obstacles that may come our way.

P.s. I’ve been posting a lot of videos. I guess I just want to share with you all some of my favorites on youtube. So here’s one featuring ‘it’ girl of the moment Agyness Deyn for Jean Paul Gaultier. I’m not much of a fan (something about her British mouth bothers me) but I thought the idea of the commercial was fresh.

My mind is on constant switch from going to and fro about my feelings about the boy. We are headed towards a destination that may seem far off in the distant but duly inevitable. Obviously the past years have served as the first stepping stones to a shared future. Him and I. His and Hers. Together. Forever.
Then why does the feeling of uncertainty grieve me so? Why am I so wary of what the untold future may hold? I fear for myself and most importantly our happiness. It’s like having cold feet yet I am not standing before my wedding day. I am years off from that and am still a naive girl trying to steady herself on level ground. Maybe he is what my future holds because it’s obviously apparent that I am always turning back to him regardless of the numerous times I have attempted to leave him.  
Ack. Fretting about useless nonsense will get me nowhere. . .

I guess I just want to know that he will love me for the rest of my life. Then again, everyone girl wants that.
